Job Summary:

Responsible for increasing new patient growth/volume through existing and non- existing referral sources including relationship-building with Independent physician offices, medical groups, hospital systems, case management, discharge nursing, specialty, third party admin, provider professionals and local payer groups in assigned territory.

Essential Functions:
Perform daily activity of calling on a minimum of 20 visits per day 80% being physicians, other 20% all other referral sources.Exceed NP targets as documented in annual budget file.Utilizing relevant data, identify and prioritize primary and secondary referral targets within sales territory.Team with clinical staff as needed to further physician relationships. Involve clinicians in opportunities to educate referring physicians on VibrantCare services and clinician specialties through physician lunches and meetings.. Manage territory plan to increase business from targeted and existing referral or contract services.Use CRM to track physician visits on a daily basis. Prepare Weekly Call Plan at the end of each week for the following week.Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources focusing on increased referrals to VibrantCare.Foster a positive and favorable image of VibrantCare through activities in the Healthcare community in general.Promote and maintain excellent customer relationships both internally and externally on all levels and provide feedback to local VibrantCare team.Assist in the coordination of Public Relations (PR) and marketing activities in local market area.Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.May incur up to 10% out of state or regional travel time annually.
Required skills
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skillsAbility to develop and execute a territory management plan and prioritize initiatives to maximize profitability.Professional selling, reporting, and documentation skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality as appropriate.Ability to develop and leverage new referral source relationships.Interpersonal skills that allow the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with clinic and administrative personnel.Strong organizational and time management skills.Problem-solving skillsAbility to handle multiple meetings and customer contacts per day (normally 20).Working knowledge of national/regional healthcare payor mechanisms.Required to be proficient in Windows based office technologies (Word, Excel) and CRM systems
Preferred and Required Credentials:
BA/BS degree in business or Healthcare related disciplines OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum two years sales experience required.Minimum two years healthcare experience required.Minimum two years experience in customer relations/marketing multiple services.Knowledge/experience in local Healthcare environment and working knowledge of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and outpatient services preferred.
