We are searching for a technical instructor to join Ribbon`s IP and Optical Networks division. The ideal candidate is a networking professional with excellent presentation skills as well as a solid background in IP/MPLS technologies. Hands-on experience in the field is a requirement.
The recruited instructor will become part of our global training and knowledge group which is in charge of training all IP and Optical customers and partners.

Primary responsibilities:


  • Present technical training classes both in the webinar and frontal format
    The classes consist of both theoretical section and hands-on configuration of the systems


  • Develop training kits for Ribbon`s IP/MPLS products in collaboration with the global training team


Experience and skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar


  • 3+ years of experience in training and good presentation skills


  • In-depth theoretical knowledge and practical experience in IP/MPLS and related technologies, including, but not limited to: OSPF, IS-IS, LDP, BGP, L2VPN & L3VPN


  • Ability to travel up to 40%


Advantage:


  • CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certificates


  • Knowledge SDH, DWDM, and Optics technologies


  • Knowledge of Ribbon`s IP and Optical products


  • Knowledge of the Service Provider networking infrastructure


  • Ability to work in a team environment


  • Spanish or other languages
