What you will do

Responsible for supporting the design, development and maintenance of the Global collection systems.

Being the bridge between OTC collections teams (both users as management) and the IT team to translate business requirements into IT requirements. 

Defining the future standards and strategies for collection tools and other OTC applications

How you will do it


  • Maintain ‘state of the art’ technical/functional knowledge and expertise in the assigned areas of responsibility. Apply new technology and techniques to improve effectiveness of business solutions.

  • Develop functional/technical skills to span multiple “systems” or “platforms”, Work with architecture and operations departments to ensure that applications are in compliance with company standards, are operating at a high level of availability.

  • Supports the analysis of designs, developing, testing and implementing changes to the Getpaid application in support of Business Unit initiatives and change requests.

  • Provides knowledge transfer to Getpaid application team.

  • Under direction of the Mgr Global Solution Architect, leads the results of the testing cycle of system design changes prior to migrating to Production applications.

  • Works with the Release Manager to determine the readiness and deployment schedule of Getpaid application modifications or enhancements.

  • Supports the application migration strategy for moving changes between environments

  • Works to ensure Global, cross-BU standardization is maintained

  • Support integration of new entities / ERP’s  into the Getpaid system

  • Provide Tier 3 end user support when needed.

  • Work with the external application vendors on issue resolution, enhancements and improvements.

  • Act as liaison between Collections IT CoE and the Collections teams in the business center

What we look for

Required


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related discipline

  • Overall business experience between 5 to 10 years 

  • 3+ years of knowledge and experience in OTC business processes or related applications

  • Working knowledge in the collection applications (mainly Getpaid) 

  • Knowledge of and experience with computerized financial systems, including personal computer systems, Excel, Windows, and other mainframe or PC based general ledger and related software. 

  • Capable of effectively interacting with Business Unit customers 

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills 

  • Ability to work independently in dynamic, fast-paced environment 

  • Understanding of SQL database (database maintenance + automatic data imports) 

  • Proven experience of data processing, data analytics and reporting

Preferred


  • Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley Requirements a plus 

  • Knowledge of Contact Tool and / or GetPaid is a plus
