We are currently looking for a Renewal Support Sales Manager to join Thales working remotely in Texas.  The Renewal Support Sales Manager is responsible for managing the team responsible for providing quote and sales support to the Maintenance Renewals Sales Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provides coaching and support to ensure team is following BBP, such as quoting processes and requirements, SFDC reconciliation, License Request mgmt, etc

  • Monitors 90 day advance renewal cycle progress and aids in providing guidance to assist with delays

  • Provides quoting and reconciliation support, if needed, due to team absence or urgent requests

  • Review and audit renewal quotes, as needed, prior to quote submission to customer or channel

  • Review CRM tool to validate application of BBP for opportunity management attributes (ex.Value, Quote Status, Close Date, Opportunity Partners, etc.)and identify metrics that will aid in consistent

  • Collaborate with the Renewals Management team to articulate business challenges presented by the Renewals team, to internal teams and stake holders (ex. Configuration Management, Product Management, SFDC Data Support, Executive Mgmt. etc.) and assist with evaluation, determination, and implementation of accepted resolutions

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on business process improvements

Required Skills and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or a relevant field of study, or equivalent work experience

  • 3 to 5 years of experience sales management or sales cycle management, including managing the administrative component of a sale from lead to invoicing through the use of CRM and/or ERP systems

  • Experience creating and manipulating detailed spreadsheets to create multiple renewal offerings

  • Experience in researching multiple systems to collect, organize and interpret data for multiple use cases

  • Ability to manage remote employees provide coaching in a virtual setting.

  • Strong work ethic and commitment to meet/exceed sales goals (targets/quotas).

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Exceptional resource management, time management and organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and complete.

  • Ability to multitask in order to meet deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Self-starter/Ability to work independently while managing distractions to maximize productivity with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to collaborate and work as a contributing member of a team.

  • Strong math and computer skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and CRM applications

Preferred Skills and Experience:


  • Prior experience with sales lead generation in SalesForce.com CRM system.

  • Prior experience with invoicing through Oracle ERP. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
