If you are a HUMAN RESOURCES professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our LEBANON, MO location, you will be responsible for processing applications, sets-up interviews, and helps in conducting orientation for new employees weekly.  In addition, this position inputs all new hires into the Oracle system and makes sure their files are set up in Human Resources to include training and medical.  You will also be  responsible for completing weekly headcount reports for distribution to senior staff members.  

AS THE HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR - RECRUITING, YOU WILL: 


  • Input new employees into Oracle
  • Complete weekly headcount reports for senior staff
  • Be responsible for background checks
  • Screen applications for HR Generalist roles
  • Contact applicants to set up interviews
  • Help with weekly orientation for new hires
  • Back-up to front desk receptionist in the HR department

  • Coordinate training needs for Material Handlers 
     

WHO YOU ARE:You are responsible to take action quickly on applications that are received running screens and setting up interviews.  You must make quality decisions on if the applicant would be a good fit for our organizaiton based on prior work experience. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • The successful candidate will have one year of previous HR experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for the role.
  • Legal Authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
     

 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  

  • An Associate's degree or some college credits is preferred.

  • A High School degree or GED is required.

Schedule
The facility works both a 4-day work week and a 5-day work week, depending on the assignment. Most jobs provide service and support to a specific shift, although some jobs provide support across both shifts.  Our shifts schedules are:
 

First Machining            4:45 AM to 3:15 PM
Second Machining       3:15 PM to 1:45 AM
First Assembly             6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Second Assembly        5:00 PM to 3:30 AM
 

Support Personnel: Our teams work together to ensure their chosen work schedules are supporting our customers.  These jobs typically work a 5-day workweek.

Our plant in Lebanon, MO is Emerson’s flagship operation for scroll compressor assembly and a machining powerhouse for main bearing housings and scroll elements.  With over 60 million scroll compressors produced in the past 27 years.
