Job Description:

Scoppechio is an omnichannel agency driving growth through new client acquisition, organic growth of existing clients, and acquisition of related businesses to expand our service offerings. We are searching for a Director of Project Management to steer a best-in-class Project Management function and team that supports this growth trajectory and allows us to effectively deliver integrated, multi-channel projects. This opportunity is ideal for you if you’ve successfully done it before or have the goods to make it happen but haven’t been given the opportunity. You embrace the notion that the overall goal of the Project Management function is to make it possible for our teams to deliver our best creative work and thinking and to deliver it profitably.

Responsibilities: 


  • Learn how the agency functions, understand our core disciplines, audit our processes, identify opportunities to gain efficiencies, document processes and educate internal teams.

  • Build your team by nurturing existing team members and hiring new ones.

  • Forge strong relationships with leadership from the agency’s core disciplines, Finance, and our agency partners.

  • Ensure we are providing a standardized approach to project management across the client portfolio.

  • Consistently bring new ideas and thinking around best practices and ensure teams integrate them into their approach.

  • Lead a team of Project Managers who are accountable for the following, in addition to supporting key clients yourself:

    • Ensure projects are delivered to the client’s satisfaction, meets the client’s needs, on time and on budget

    • Attend client meetings with Account Service to discuss new projects and provide progress reports on current assignments.

    • Provide knowledge of the resources and talent needed (both within and outside the agency) to deliver a project according to the client’s vision.

    • Scope assignments, estimates and timelines and present to clients.

    • Manage client expectations, project communications, negotiations, escalation and solutions.

    • Prioritize and deliver project requirements to Creative, Tech Solutions, Media, Strategy, and Reporting teams as well as our agency network Design, AR and Experiential partners, that accurately translates the client’s vision.

    • Lead the team throughout the lifecycle of a project; from assessment and definition, creative & technical design, production and development, and testing and launch.

    • Manage the development and execution of project plans; creating project scope, estimates, schedules and budgets.

    • Assemble and manage specification documents and ensuring they get into the right hands within the agency.

    • Advise management on potential client or revenue issues.

    • Work with resource managers.

    • Ensure the lessons learned from previous projects are translated into best practices and used to solve project objectives and success criteria.

    • Maintain the accuracy of project information within the agency’s reporting systems.

    • Ensure internal teams are well-connected at the right time to collaborate and generate work.

 Required Skills and Attributes:


  • 8+ years in Project Management managing multi-phased projects within an agency.

  • Pragmatic, enjoys solving operational challenges, thrives on setting teams up for success.

  • Comfortable in gray area with tenacious approach to distill needs down to black and white.

  • Ability to sell-in and negotiate estimates.

  • Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills.

  • Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written.

  • Proven Problem-Solving skills. Biased toward finding solutions and removing barriers to progress.

  • Self-starter; able to juggle multiple projects at once.

  • Proven track record in a client-service environment including client interactions and ability to lead project teams.

  • Level-headed with even temperament.

  • Experience with all omnichannel platforms including online and offline.

  • Proficient in project management tools (such as Smartsheet, Advantage, Ravetree, Basecamp, Workfront) Microsoft Office.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other closely related areas preferred.

  • Certification in Project Management a plus.
