Job Description:

The Director, Strategic Partner is responsible for growing and maintaining our strategic and partnership channel program.  They will be the primary point of contact for our partners, and responsible for driving new and incremental revenue from these relationships. The Director, Strategic Partner will be responsible for selling, educating and supporting our partners with our electronic data interchange (EDI) software & services.


Travel is required (30-40%).  TrueCommerce has offices located in Cranberry, PA, Cincinnati, OH, Columbus, OH, Reston, VA, and Hope Valley, RI.  Remote capabilities are available.  Location of employee to be relative to one of those locations if possible.


Director, Strategic Partners Job Duties:



  • Identify, coordinate, and execute successful, revenue generating business partnerships by analyzing business opportunities, initiating proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.


  • Work with partners to develop and execute both strategic and tactical plans necessary to exceed targeted levels for both revenue and non-revenue objectives.


  • Maintain current partnerships and grow the incremental revenues by identifying new programs and upsell opportunities.


  • Meet or exceed revenue and unit quotas as put forth by the company


  • Maintain a robust opportunity funnel as determined by the company and work with partners to understand opportunity pipeline and forecasts.


  • Deliver monthly management reports, including competitor activity, sell-through analysis, forecast and partner training activity.

Experience

Preferred

  • Experience in selling supply chain software applications.

  • Documented track record in partner management and developing new business opportunities in a highly competitive and fragmented market.

  • Knowledge of integration approaches including API, Flat File, etc.

  • Prior experience building a Software Developer Network (SDN) or partner/reseller channel

  • 5 year(s): Minimum of five years of documented track record of selling software products through partners.

Education

Required

  • Bachelors or better in Marketing or related field

  • Bachelors or better in Management or related field
