DHL Express has an immediate opening for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst at our CVG Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky.  The Compensation & Benefits Analyst plays a key role in developing, maintaining and innovating Compensation & Benefits processes and tools.  This position is responsible for administering compensation programs and processes in alignment with company strategy; leads department projects in the areas of Total Rewards having a significant business impact in the organization.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develops tools to automate compensation processes from compensation reviews and approvals to pay band development.

  • Applies strong data and development acumen to perform a variety of roles in the creation and maintenance of data and analytical reports.

  • Creates effective databases and tools using advanced programs such as Access, SQL, and Excel.

  • Leads compensation processes such as annual merit programs including pay for performance, market competitiveness, internal equity and differentiation.

  • Completes salary surveys from various vendors.

  • Supports the design, development and analysis of pay bands for various groups in the organization.

  • Conducts market analysis and provides recommendations for pay structures.

  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners to deliver training, communications and recommendations on various compensation and benefit issues. 

  • May develop, recommend, and implement Compensation process and policy changes.

  • May direct major projects or programs with significant business impact within department, area, and business unit.

  • Participates in project team meetings with stakeholders and clients to discuss issues, direction, and implementation strategies and to solicit new viewpoints.

  • Prepares timely and actionable analysis, forecasts, and recommendations for assigned projects to ensure achievement of business objectives.

  • Supports ad-hoc requests and other duties as assigned.

                           

Skills & Accountabilities:


  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access required.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise a high level of discretion.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and quantitative analysis skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong planning, project management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work individually or within a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from an accredited college.

  • Certified Compensation Professional certification preferred. 

  • 3-5 years of data analytics and prior work experience in compensation, benefits, HRIS systems, or payroll.
