Engineering Intern –  San Jose, CA (Bluesky Center):

Jabil offers paid internships within our Manufacturing, Technology, and Innovation (MTI) team. Intern will aid in the development of manufacturing processes that lead to the assembly of some of the world’s most innovative products. You’ll receive firsthand experience in laboratory assembly, testing, and analytical activities associated with the development of advanced technologies. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with cross functional groups such as, Jabil Manufacturing and Business Development teams. Intern responsibilities may include:

• Process Development in a Research and Development lab


• Develop and Execute on DOEs (Design of Experiments)


• Programming, operating and maintaining of all lab equipment


• Use and interpretation of analytical and test equipment


• Literature research, Data collection and report summaries


• Exposure and experience in working with global cross functional teams


• Flexible work schedule given potential deadlines


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Position Requirements:

• Currently in pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree with a graduation date between Dec 2023 – June 2026 or Master’s degree with a graduation date between Dec 2023 – June 2026
  


• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor


• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

• Strong academic performance (3.0 or better GPA)

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills


• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks


• Basic understanding of various manufacturing processes


• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
