The Sr. Manager, Benefits is responsible for creating, maintaining, and effectively administering a competitive benefits package. This includes managing Foregrounds Short and Long Term Disability, Life, and 401(k) and working with the vendors Foreground utilizes to offer these plans.
This manager will monitor developments in employee benefits, evaluate and compare existing employee benefits with those of other employers, and make recommendations to Foreground Leadership on how to maintain strong benefits programs.
Administration of Leave Management will include reviewing, designing, and rolling out enhancements to the current leave management program. Experience with Leave Management is highly desired.
Lead and further Develop Foregrounds Benefit Program
Present Foregrounds Benefits package to new hires and answer questions from existing employees
Monitor Benefits enrollments, create reports based on take rates
Work with Benefits vendors to resolve employee issues
Maintain a working knowledge of benefits being offered in the industry to keep Foregrounds package competitive
Review, Redesign as necessary, and manage Short and Long Term Leaves program
Leave Management: Program design of FMLA that will include use of 3rd party leave management solutions
Costs out Benefit Renewals and design Open Enrollment activities
Qualifications
4-6 years of experience with the full life cycle of Benefits and Leave Administration
At least 3 years of experience working with Benefits Brokers
Understanding of the Fiduciary responsibility in Benefits Management
Systems experience with Benefits portals
SPHR Preferred
HR Generalist background Preferred
Understanding and comfort with using technology to manage medical files for employees
Works well with others
Comfort working remote without daily supervision
