Senior Analyst, Social Media Strategy at Hilton Global in McLean, Virginia

The Global Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering exceptional multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.

What will I be doing?

As Sr. Analyst, Social Media Strategy, you will support the strategic direction and execution of a coordinated marketing roadmap for key Hilton Honors social priorities. This will help drive revenue, increase market presence, and build brand loyalty with new and existing customers.

You will collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to create and implement social media strategies and content. You will report to a Manager, Social Media Strategy, and work with the Global Brand Marketing team to help implement strategies and activation plans around key brand initiatives.

More specifically, you will:


  • Help build an editorial content calendar in support of Hilton Honors, Cobrand and All-Inclusive Resorts.

  • Brief and work closely with Hilton’s internal creative studio to create compelling content.

  • Input on paid media strategy and partner with paid media team to help launch media across the funnel and report quarterly on performance.

  • Assist in quarterly social media reporting through pulling data in Sprinklr and helping identify insights and trends.

  • Support Manager in partner management and be steward of the social channels.

  • Strong understanding of effective brand positioning and creative strategy

  • Strong project management skills and strong attention to detail, with proven success prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously from conception through to completion, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met

  • Experience building comprehensive social media plans that can break through and deliver on business and marketing objectives

  • Ability to write effective creative briefs and constructively relay feedback to cross-functional Hilton teams and outside agencies to guide creative strategy and development

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:


  • Three (3) years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, social media, content marketing, or a related field

  • Two (2) years of marketing campaign management experience (start to finish: from strategy concept to creative briefs to final presentation)

  • One (1) year of marketing project management experience, including partnering with internal marketing teams and external agencies

It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:


  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience with Sprinklr or similar social media management software (SMMS)

  • One (1) year spent contributing/supervising media planning, targeting, trafficking and/or reporting efforts for highly budgeted social media campaigns
