Job Description:

A Cancer Center in Eastern Montana is seeking a Cancer Center Director to join their accomplished Oncology team. 

The Cancer Center offers Cancer Care services in one convenient centralized location. Cancer Care treatments include chemotherapy and IV therapy and radiation therapy using TomoTherapy technology. The entrance features a circular driveway for easy access to the Cancer Care area with designated parking lot for those going through cancer treatment. The staff includes a full time radiation oncologist, a full time medical oncologist, registered nurses, radiation technologists and clinical support staff. Lodging is available on site for those patients that are traveling long distances and requiring daily treatment.  The two rooms include a queen size bed, handicapped shower, linens, small refrigerator, television, and sleep recliner.  Dining is available in the main cafeteria or through Extended Care Dining Services.

The Cancer Care Director oversees the management and coordination of the Cancer Center that includes, Radiation Oncology, Radiation Therapy, Medical Oncology, and Infusion. The Director serves as the lead for the program and collaborates with others to advance the quality of patient care by utilizing the Studer principles. The Director ensures that strategies, priorities, and operations with the Cancer Center are aligned and compliment the ASCO and NCCN oncology services. Other responsibilities include clinical operations, financial budgeting, and quality improvement to ensure the program runs effectively and aligns with the Health Center's mission and values. A candidate with Director experience, excellent leadership, clinical operations experience, and interpersonal communication skills will best align with what this Health Care Center is seeking. 

Oil and agriculture are the main industries, and crops include grains, sugar beets, corn, beans and hay. The area offers excellent fishing for many warm-water species, including the huge prehistoric Paddlefish. You can also hunt for agates along the Yellowstone, or hunt big game, waterfowl and upland birds. The Cancer Center is along the Yellowstone River.
