Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, is responsible for expediting products through the various work centers consistent with promised shipping/surgery dates.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Coordinates the procurement of the product and planning of the order. · Is responsible for information tracking, including but not limited to, tracking numbers, inventory shortages, and special issues. · Reconciles inventory discrepancies in a timely manner, assuring the completeness of customer orders and accuracy of electronic files. · Resolves inventory pipeline issues and works with the appropriate individuals to assure inventory balances. This is not an exhaustive list of duties or functions and might not necessarily comprise all of the essential functions for purposes of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Expected Areas of Competence

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. · Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. · Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. · Exercises some decision-making authority, later verified by the Department Supervisor and advises the Department Supervisor, or designee, of transactions and/or special concerns on a daily basis. · Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. · Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
*Ability to lift 30 lbs.
*The ability to be on your feet for 4-6 hours per day.
*Must have a valid driver\'s license.

Education/Experience Requirements

· High School diploma or general education degree GED. · Experience with MAPICS II and AS/400 preferred.
