Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the team to execute to all safety, quality and delivery expectations.


• Verify all products are acceptable and packed according to customer needs


• Pick and pack orders to ensure accuracy is met 100% of the time


• Properly identify and record any product noncompliance


• Work with sales to ensure we can meet customer delivery and quality expectations


• Maintain organized work areas.


• Assess daily production requirements and move manpower to meet customer demands.


• Utilize the AS400 system to verify order requirements and inventory info.


• Verify quality checks are being completed in all departments.


• Verify inventory is being managed correctly to ensure accuracy.


• Other related duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.


• Lead and assist in loading and unloading material with team

Requirements:

• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills


• Accuracy and attention to detail


• Overhead Crane and fork truck experience is required. Certified a plus


• Prior experience with a metal related company or Service Center industry preferred but not required.


• Willingness to learn continued skills/safety knowledge


• Able to lead teams with safety as priority


• Excellent attendance a must


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.


• Computer proficiency with some Microsoft Office applications required. AS 400 experience a plus
