HVAC Maintenance Technician - Full Time at HOCKING VALLEY COMMUNITY HOSPITAL in Logan, Ohio

Job Description:

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking a HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team to assist with the routine maintenance and repair of all hospital and medical office building HVAC systems, as well as additional mechanical systems. This position will also support the Maintenance Team with work orders and projects.

This is a FULL TIME (40 hours/week) and requires 1 weekend per month as well as taking "on-call" time.

HVCH is a 25 bed critical access hospital (CAH) with a 10 bed geriatric psych unit and a Rural Health Clinic with Family and Pediatric services. We require

At least three (3) years of experience in commercial and residential HVAC maintenance, service, and repair as well as building, facilities, and grounds.
HVAC certification, EPA 608. Other skilled trades certification are preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to use hand tools and trades-type tools,
Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Prior training in safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flush, Hazard Communication, etc.
Experience with electrical, plumbing, welding, heating/ventilation, and other skilled trades preferred.

Job Duties

Analyze, plan for, and take corrective action on HVAC system and on other assigned.
Make preventive maintenance checks and inspections and report to supervisor as needed.
Make running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality in HVAC and other assigned equipment.
Ensure physical plant and mechanical equipment meet all applicable safety standards and regulations.
Provide assistance with work orders and other maintenance tasks as required.
Assist with maintaining all hospital campus buildings and grounds; such as clearing show and debris from sidewalks and parking lots, moving equipment, furniture, and fixtures, installing equipment and fixtures, repairing and painting walls, and other duties as assigned.
