About the Opportunity
The Corporate Accounting Department has an opening for a Financial Analyst, reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting and Finance.
In this role, you will provide reporting, research, and analysis of data and problems of varying complexity to provide financial management services and develop recommendations to solve problems and issues related to financial operations. As a collaborative team member, you will plan and execute solutions and provide consultation to clients, colleagues, and management. While using data to drive decisions, you will determine best practices and suggest how to improve current practices.
What You Will Do:
Perform complex analyses and modeling of financial data including projections, assumptions, and/or trend and variance analyses to provide actionable recommendations based on conclusions
Develop, execute, and innovate reporting solutions to drive the delivery of enterprise and/or business line performance packages and summaries
Create key Financial Planning deliverables, driving timely results through end-to-end ownership of assigned financial processes and outputs
Provide inputs as well as manage analytical and risk-based controls to support cost accounting processes
Contribute and participate in financial process improvement and solution discussions and may present outcomes in written and verbal format to internal stakeholders and leaders
Serve as a liaison and/or technical resource on budget and cost accounting matters
Participate in cross-functional team initiatives and financial process improvement projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Excellent analytical and organizational skills; prudent judgment, and decision-making ability, and an innovative approach to problem solving
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with ability to work across all levels of the organization
Ability to ask penetrating questions and identify unstated assumptions
Strong oral and written communication with the ability to provide clear and concise information and/or instruction to key stakeholders
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Tableau and PowerPoint along with various other online applications as needed for the role
