This position is responsible for the planning and distribution process for the Spencer/Spirit Ecommerce line of business. The position forecasts sales and inventory needs from the bottom up in order to ensure sales velocity is maintained and key items are kept in stock. The analyst will aid in the creation, interpretation and dissemination of reporting to support the Spencer/Spirit Ecommerce business.
Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels, total store level down to the item level for the Spencer's/Spirit ecommerce store.
Responsible for merchandise allocations of Spencer/Spirit product and generating the weekly merchandise requisitions to the ecommerce fulfillment center.
Partner with the merchant team on the assortment planning process pre-season.
Partner with ecommerce team on Spencer/Spirit online promotional strategy. Analyze past events and planning for future promotions.
Responsible for generating weekly Spencer/Spirit Ecommerce sales and merchandise related reporting and interpretation/analysis of the data for management.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. This includes Microsoft Office Programs.
