Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY: Greeting all guests of Starbucks with a warm friendly greeting. Must be able to model the behaviors and utilize all 4 service behavior standards. Must be able to accurately settle all guest checks to the appropriate tender using our point of sale system and keep over/shorts to a minimum.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS :

* Ability to clean and stock areas adhering to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.

* Ability to acknowledge, greet and converse in English with customers.

* Respond to visual and oral signals.

* Address concerns and questions.

* Physical dexterity to prepare food for service, pour nonalcoholic beverages, use of cash register.

* Ability to give friendly, excellent customer service.

* Ability to process cash transactions accurately. Must be able to work a varied schedule that includes day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: 1 years' experience, Health Card

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS: Dexterity to utilize tools, Bright lights, Stand for long periods of time or shift, Work in hot or cold temperatures, Walk Entire Shift, Maneuver in confined spaces, Dusty environment, Walk up and down stairs, Guest Contact, Reach, Bend, Stoop, Twist, Hear, Tolerate high noise areas, Speak/Read/Write/Understand English, Work in outdoor weather conditions (hot/cold), Work flexible schedules, Work in second-hand smoke environment, Push/Pull up to 40 pounds, Lift up to 30 pounds, Accurate money/chip handling
