Summary of Role:

In this role, you will draft, negotiate, and manage contracts related to GF's key technology engagements and licensing activities. Essential to the role are strong communication and IT skills in order to optimize GF Microsoft applications including SharePoint, Teams, Word and Excel. You will be responsible for department metrics, including royalty reporting and contract compliance. The role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across teams in Sales, Accounting, Finance, IT, Engineering and Legal. The ability to leverage these personal connections as well as the ability to work independently are key to success.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Drive negotiations and the contracting process for key Technology Agreements, with GlobalFoundries customers, universities, consortia, and suppliers

  • Manage ongoing contract administration and business management associated with these multi-year agreements

  • Develop and streamline department's communication platform, including webpage, teamrooms

  • Report on metrics and ensure payment of incoming royalties

  • Lead compliance activities for department

  • Support special projects on as-needed basis

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Business or Technical Discipline

  • 2-5 years' Relevant Work Experience (Preference given to experience as a paralegal or IT systems work)

  • Experience in technology related contracts including drafting of license agreements and understanding of contract law

  • Travel Requirements: 25% of Travel

  • Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience working within large and diverse organizations and making presentations to executive level audiences

  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing situations

  • Formal negotiation skill training

  • Strong IT skills

  • Financial acumen and ability to create financial measurement reports
