YOUR ROLE
Execute engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
Liaise with other stakeholders within the plant in order to provide professional support and advice (quality, supply chain, maintenance, production, SHE)
Strive for improvements and efficiencies in Engineering area
Monitor KPIs for engineering processes including smart factory.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
Execute engineering processes ensuring that quality products are delivered on-time at competitive cost
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technical development and trends in the field of expertise
Assist with startup of new plant/technology
Support in specification creation and updating of existing specs.
Execute facility directives within established timelines and cost parameters.
Develop partnerships with vendors, suppliers, and operations to allow completion of projects and tasks.
YOUR SKILLS
Currently enrolled Engineering student; 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year.
Good basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Project) essential, AutoCAD, and SAP skills a definite plus.
More advanced Chemical engineering concepts a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills (oral and written)
Able to intern (part-time or full-time) beginning in Jan 2022 through May 2022 with opportunity for extension if desired
Analytical and problem-solving skills: ability to analyze data and develop fact-based recommendations resulting from the analysis
Communication skills: collaborative team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude
Project management skills: strong work ethic and ability to meet project deadlines
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Excellent project management skills and attention to deadlines.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
