Job Summary
The Program on Corporate Governance seeks to foster research and scholarship about corporate governance and facilitate discourse in this field among academics, practitioners, and policy-makers.
Job-Specific Responsibilities
As a Program Administrator you will:
Provide a broad range of administrative and managerial support for the PCG Faculty Director as well as program activities, including conferences, events, fundraising, and hire processes.
Manage correspondence and communications with program sponsors and stakeholders, including independently drafting such correspondence and communications.
Interact with outside constituencies such as board members, law firms, corporations, prominent research organizations, as well as a variety of university administrators and staff members.
Manage conference logistics such as venue selection/management, invitations, RSVPs, catering, AV needs, travel, and program material preparations.
Oversee the work of the program coordinator and program associates and webmasters with respect to program events and fundraising.
Maintain and expand extensive database of contacts.
Contribute to and prepare first draft of program reports .
Administer the Program's budget and the allocation of revenue and expenses among the various funds.
Carry out other administrative and managerial assignments as directed by the PCG Faculty Director.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
5 or more years of experience in office administration¿or related¿field¿(business environment¿and/or¿customer service) including¿organization¿and execution¿of¿events.¿
Education beyond high school may count toward experience.¿¿

Demonstrated organizational skills for busy workflow with attention to detail.
Experience making complex judgments in a support role where priorities shift frequently and quickly.
Flexible attitude required for managing array of work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and a high level of discretion.
Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
Working Conditions
A hybrid work arrangement including on campus work with some remote work may be possible after successful completion of Harvard's standard orientation and review period (90 days)
