Job Summary:
Primary responsibility is as a Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Document Control Officer (DCO). As PERSEC, processes security clearances for all base contractors. As DCO, ensures all classified information generated, maintained, transmitted and received is appropriately controlled, marked and stored in accordance with National Industrial Security Program (NISP) guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen to work at AEDC.
Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance (mandatory), Top Secret (desired).
Minimum of two (2) years of college (Bachelors preferred) in related and/or applicable discipline, plus two (2) years relevant experience in a security related job, or a combination of education and experience.
Consistent with President Biden's Executive Order 14042, you must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements to infectious diseases such as COVID-19. The Executive Order generally requires that all federal workers and federal contractor employees be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022.
Desired Qualifications:
Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
