Job Summary


Assist the Director with research in the area of Dance/Movement; data collection, recruit/screen research participants and assist with general lab business. This is a temporary position for 1 year.





Essential Functions



  • Recruit and screen research participants

  • Support data collection efforts (including, but not limited to, wearable sensor-based physical activity measurement, questionnaire administration, and biospecimen sampling)

  • Support ad hoc day-to-day business in the lab





Other Functions



  • Performs other duties as assigned.





Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)



  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Dance Science, Exercise Science, Public Health, Nursing, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college or university

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Proven ability to work cooperatively within a research lab







Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure)


Holds a Master's degree in Kinesiology, Dance Science, Exercise Science, Public Health, or a related field from an accredited college or university

Salary Information


30 hours per week @ $20.00/hr. The successful candidate will be hired for a temporary one year appointment.
