Bachelor's Degree in related field. Four years relevant administrative assistant experience or experience in a related field. Experience in Higher Education is desirable. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Performs advanced and complex administrative support duties for a department, college or division for the Associate Vice President for Technology Solutions.
Performs administrative assignments as directed by the Associate Vice President for Technology Solutions. Administers the planning and coordination of complex projects where inefficiency may result either in financial loss to the project, the office, or the institution. Conducts research for preparation and dissemination of information relating to assigned duties. Exercises considerable judgment in the interpretation of policy and the application of procedures, techniques, or practices to assignments. Plans, coordinates, and completes the preparation of designated divisional and departmental budgeting to include analysis and forecasting, purchasing review and preparation. Performs personnel processing (electronic Personnel Action Forms and timesheets) and travel processing. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requires detailed knowledge of University infrastructure, policies and procedures. Requires thorough knowledge of office systems. Must have the ability to solve operational problems and make suggestions for process improvement.
