GENERAL-PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Responsible for interpreting requirements provided by a team of Business Analysts; Develop and maintain SQL queries, database views, reports, and dashboards (Tableau) to permit timely and efficient measurement and analysis of business processes for the IT department. These include standard ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, Request Fulfillment, and Change Management, as well as Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and other IT processes performed by the department; Assist in maintaining and enhancing a dimensional Data Warehouse and an Operational Data Store; Create data dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Microsoft Access, and Excel; Responsible for data management and assisting in defining and maintaining metadata and data dictionaries to support Data Governance across the department; Read and understand execution plans to optimize queries and related indexes; Create and maintain artifacts supporting Data Governance, Management, and Delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Experience in Query Development, Testing, and Quality Assurance

  Partner with developers throughout the department to promote consistent metrics and reporting

  Partner with product owners to ensure data capture is effective and reliable

  Knowledge of ITIL Framework

  
  


• 
  

  Knowledge of Agile Methodology

  Ability to lead large/complex projects

  Willing to take part in 24/7 on-call support rotation
