Job Description:
Scope of Position & Technical Competency:
- Listens, monitors and observes clients.
- Provides support to the Partial Hospital Program Lead.
- Maintains safe, orderly, clean and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
- Follows objectives of treatment plans.
- Communicates with staff either verbally or through written communication via email.
- Attends company meetings, site meetings and monthly PSS calls.
- Attends and complete required/mandatory trainings as necessary.
- Trains new PSS staff on program and site.
- Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input to clinical team.
- Assisting with interventions with clients.
- Transportation of clients to and from programming.
- Drives clients to daily outings such as community service, grocery shopping. (Seeds of Hope Program Specific)
- Orient clients to program, and milieu.
- Clerical duties as needed. Stock the PHP kitchen with supplies, communicate to PHP lead what needs to be ordered.
- Apply skills in D&A and/or mental health treatment.
- Socialize with clients during leisure time and lunch.
- Helps to maintain a strong clinical program and ensures staff is present with client/s at all times.
- Staff able to work together to effectively meet the needs of the clients.
- Maintains positive relationship and appropriate boundaries with clients.
- All other tasks as appropriate and assigned.
Technical Competencies:
- Capable of role modeling to the clients.
- Helps to maintain a strong clinical program.
- Staff able to work together to effectively meet the needs of the clients.
- Maintains positive relationship with clients.
- Complete required trainings mandatory trainings hours.
- Strong skills in D&A and mental health treatment.
- A working knowledge of HIPAA, Licensing, DDAP, DHS, and CARF regulations.
- Valid Driver’s License.
