POSTION TITLE: Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Maintenance Technician supports production efficiencies by performing root-cause troubleshooting on equipment breakdown and line inefficiencies, advanced independent equipment rebuild and repairs, as well as leadership in the preventative maintenance program.

REPSPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:

• Safety First. Understand and follow all safety procedures, utilizing appropriate safety equipment at all times. Demonstrate proper use of LOTO.


• Provide advanced mechanical skills, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation maintenance


• Resolve complex machine and equipment issues using root-cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques.


• Help develop preventative maintenance strategies, schedules, and procedures.


• Performs advanced emergency and planned repairs or rebuilds of mechanical and electrical components. High level of understanding of electrical and pneumatic systems.


• Read and interpret electrical diagrams. Ability to wire electrical panels and create diagrams for end user. Complete understanding of high and low voltage systems. Planned or Emergency travel as required to complete major repairs, rebuilds, or perform team training as needed at any location.


• Controls downtime by performing routine preventative maintenance and utilizing CMMS system. Completes all documentation as required.
