This position is responsible creating and maintaining a daily shipping schedule. Must possess excellent communication/organizational skills, and be willing to multi-task. Will work with multiple cross functional departments. This position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Responsibilities
Processes documents for daily shipping/receiving.
Receives daily yard trailer report and reviews for accuracy, reports findings to stakeholders and issues/damages to Traffic Supervisor.
Enters shipping data into computer system in accordance with company procedure and regulatory requirements.
Processes case good drives in and out of facility for shipping and receiving.
Updates loading appointment schedule, works with yard drivers to place trailers for loading/unloading. Provides loaders/unloaders with documentation for proper location placement.
Processes bulk drivers in and out of facility working with remote scale printer.
Works with Cellar and Winemaking to notify of received goods, provides proper paperwork and scheduling notifications.
Assists warehouse, coordinators and management with miscellaneous tasks, including but not limited to dock activity and verification, reporting, filing and data entry.
Maintains records as required by ISO, TTB, OSHA and company policy.
Answers department phone systems, screens calls, forwards messages.
Participates in warehouse physical inventories.
Maintains filing system for Traffic Office for bulk and production put away.
Participates in departmental meetings, events and cross training.
Assists warehouse and traffic employee’s when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a shipping or transportation office with recordkeeping responsibilities.
Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel. Experience with SAP a plus.
Excellent organizer and planner. Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
