Overview


The Senior Network Manager, Domestic Programs will oversee existing Joint Operating Agreements and implementation of new service contracts. Additionally, this position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of five or more business relationships with hospitals, physician practices, healthcare systems, and/or employers while also supporting the development of new domestic partnerships, international initiatives, and project planning at various Dana-Farber campus locations, as needed. This position supports the execution of programmatic initiatives and projects outlined in definitive agreements, including developing new programs and services, leading implementation work, facilitating meetings with stakeholders, and calling on expertise within the Institute. The Senior Network Manager is also responsible for supporting the growth and expansion of these relationships to help realize the full clinical and business potential of each partnership.

Dana-Farber's Network, managed by the Business Initiatives and Alliances department, increases access to Dana-Farber's oncology expertise by developing clinical and non-clinical partnerships throughout New England and the rest of the country. The Network Development and Management team collaborates with potential network partners to develop relationship models, including associated programs and services, and manages the day to day operations of established partnerships.

Employees must reside in MA, NH or RI and this is a full time position which is partially remote with the potential of being fully remote.



Requirements


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Relationship Development


  • Oversee Joint Operating Agreements and implement new service contracts

  • Develop materials based on primary and secondary research to inform strategic decision-making; prepare documents to summarize recommendations, options and pros/cons of opportunities

  • Lead development of service offerings that can be replicated across relationships and partnerships

  • Coordinate support services to further develop domestic, international, and employer relationships, including developing and implementing strategy for ongoing roll-out of new initiatives and programs to partner sites and DFCI campus locations in collaboration with DFCI physician leaders and department contacts; work with each site to explore opportunities for further program enhancement

Relationship Management


  • Support relationships with new and existing partners, including the development of productive and positive relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations

  • Manage and coordinate all activities with an active project portfolio, including providing input into project scopes and deliverables

  • Support international and employer initiatives, as needed

  • Provide project planning support to DFCI campus locations

Contract Management


  • Work with office of general counsel to support development of new or expanded partnership contracts and renewal of existing contracts

  • Ensure executed contracts are fulfilled based on service agreements and contractual obligations

Programmatic Support


  • Plan and facilitate meetings with various internal and external stakeholders to discuss possibilities for new and existing relationships

  • Support communication with executive leaders across the Institute to ensure relevant updates and necessary information are disseminated in support of leadership's decision-making activities

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


  • Exceptional communication skills; must possess the ability to converse effectively andprepare written proposals, analyses and other documents in a manner readily understood by and crafted for the target audience

  • Self-motivated and organized with time management skills necessary to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks

  • Ability to remain flexible with changes in prioritization and manage uncertainty and ambiguity

  • Strong client orientation and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work closely and effectively as a member of a team and with all levels of the organization

  • Ability to analyze contracts and business intelligence data

  • Ability to uphold all ethical considerations while handling confidential information




Qualifications


MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Advanced degree required (MBA, MPH, MHA)

  • 4 year of work experience within healthcare, operations, account management, or consulting

  • Experience developing, executing and managing complex programs with both internal and external stakeholders within matrixed organizations, as well as multi-institutional relationships and complexities
