Job Description:

We are actively hiring for a Copywriter! Join us and support CSAA Insurance Group, a AAA Insurer, in achieving our goals.

We are looking for motivated, innovative individuals, who think big and move fast with a passion for service excellence.

Essential responsibilities

• Partners with graphic designers, videographer and other team members to generate videos, infographics, newsletters, presentations, elevator pitches and program manifestos that inspire AAA club partners, agents, executives and employees.


• Writes engaging copy (from long form to headlines to scripts) across a wide variety of communications including brochures, infographics, emails, blog posts, social media ads, print ads, posters and video content.


• Develops a deep understanding of CSAA IG and AAA Brand Standards to create and evaluate content that fits within our brand voice and guidelines.


• Contributes to the development of communications and brand guidelines for innovation projects including new brands, products, tools and features.


• Effectively delivers and accepts feedback with a positive and constructive approach.


• Confidently collaborates and presents work to all levels of the organization including executives in a clear, concise and articulate manner.


• Works with internal creative team, subject matter experts and the legal team to edit material for accuracy, style and readability, recommending changes where necessary.


• Maintains a thorough understanding of business priorities, key business drivers, stakeholders, and new and ongoing initiatives within the company.


• Consults effectively and is capable of discussing business issues at all levels - sharing knowledge and recommending appropriate communication strategies.

• Conceptual thinker with strong storytelling skills.


• Passion for video content and experience concepting and writing scripts.


• Ability to handle a project throughout the entire creative lifecycle from ideation to deployment.


• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Constant Contact or other email software.


• Excellent organization and time management skills.


• Collaborative, flexible, self-motivated, curious, adaptable and a continuous learner.


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications preferred.


• Minimum of 5 years professional experience as a copywriter within an advertising or marketing agency

If performed in Nevada, this position has a(n) salary range of $84,915-$99,900. In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a(n) salary range of $80,750-$95,000. The role includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 8% of eligible pay. (For Sales Agents Only) In addition we offer an Incentive and Recognition plan which is an additional earning opportunity from a production incentive plan.
