What You Will Do At The Association

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for governance of for all commercial matters relating to regional sales. The role will establish and implement standard guidelines and procedures for regional sales teams, including standardized contracts and Commercial team processes for contract lifecycle management systems. The Commercial Manager will work closely with regional sales teams to ensure commercially sound deal construction and negotiation interface with the product teams and solution engineers to build commercial models for new and existing products and services.  As needed the role is responsible to help adapt these models for regional and project specific needs.   Work with the global Commercial team and the regional business development teams to meet sales needs and to evolve our go to market models and commercial strategy.

What We Need From You


  • Strong financial acumen – able to interpret and apply financial analysis to evaluate options and opportunities.  

  • Excellent commercial judgement with a sales/revenue generation mindset.

  • Great balance between client facing skills and commercial management

  • Excellent negotiation skills, with focus on legal/contracting

  • Experience of creating and maintaining policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance

  • Experience implementing commercial governance within a sales function

  • 3+  years experience of contract drafting, negotiation, dispute resolution and commercial management

  • 3+ years experience in deal shaping, pricing and proposition management with B2B clientsPrior experience working in a Legal Department
