As a Fumigation Technician with Western Pest Services, you will be provided with all the tools and training you will need to be successful in starting or continuing a career in the pest control industry. If you are a self-starter, have a strong work ethic, and are seeking a new career or to expand upon existing experience and skills, this may be the right fit for you.
This position requires the flexibility to perform nights, weekends, and over-time.
CDL with HAZMAT a PLUS or the ability to obtain.
Our successful Fumigation Technicians...
Assist with the completion of the fumigation process; including, but not limited to sealing, tarping, introduction of fumigant, conducting readings, and aerating/de-gassing
Use hand-held gas monitoring equipment to conduct readings
Read, understand, and follow labels and SDS forms for hazardous chemicals used during services provided
Maintain working order and cleanliness of assigned company vehicle
Effectively communicate with clients as needed
Inspect, maintain, and utilize Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) properly
Follow proper safety guidelines, including but not limited to specified Target Solutions training, OSHA mandated guidelines, and all client specified guidelines
Willing and able to bend, crawl, lift and carry for extended periods of time
Climb ladders and work at heights

We require a good driving record and the ability to pass a drug screen. Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the following job duties with or without accommodations as well as the ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid).
Safely use a ladder within the manufacturer's weight capacity
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.
