Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to join the Access Network group on the Satellite Applications team in Carlsbad, CA.

Summary:
In this exciting role, the Software Engineer will be responsible for back-end and full-stack software development on an Agile DevOps team. The Software Engineer will become involved in all phases of the software lifecycle from requirements gathering, design, development, monitoring, operation, and analytics of our global network.

REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience


• 5+ years of commercial Software Development experience


• Fluency in mainstream languages such as Golang, Python, Java, or C#


• Willingness and ability to learn Golang if one does not already have experience working with the language


• Experience working with Kubernetes and Docker


• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and development environments


• Experience with highly concurrent application architecture and development


• Broad range of technology interests across different disciplines including computer and system architecture, API design and development, performance analysis, distributed systems design, testing, and verification technologies, data processing, cloud computing, and networking
