TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS MANAGER at Boyd Corporation in Modesto , California

Job Description:

Boyd Corporation has an opening for a Technical Solutions Manager in Modesto, CA. Duties include but will not be limited to act as customer interface with responsibility to increase sales by providing engineering and design support ; Oversee with the Sales team in designing in new innovative solutions and complex product requests; Advisory role on pricing levels for new solutions; Provide support in technical and equipment purchase strategy; Work with Operations and Engineering, driving new and enhanced processes and engineering; Direct the global cross functional team to aid in the robust commercialization of innovative solutions and process technologies; Identify opportunities for improvement ; Manage projects from idea to producible product or process; create business cases for investments as needed as well as suggest potential savings vs cost based on activities seen needed; Develop project plan, defining and set project specifications, requirements and goals; Lead and/or take active part in development, implementation and design in of new solutions and equipment. Requires 5 years of Die Cut Process experience including hands on machine knowledge with 5 years of experience in Sales, Engineering and/or development, delivering projects and tasks on time, in IT-literate: MS Office, Internet, mail and maneuvering in a highly matrix organization.
