The Manager, Employment Brand Strategy is responsible for helping build and execute the employer value proposition and talent acquisition strategy. As Cedar Fair’s lead talent brand strategist, you will play a key role in designing and activating key marketing strategies to build and strengthen our employer brand. We’re seeking a talented creative individual that enjoys brand building, marketing activation digital storytelling and driving results. This individual will be paramount in being a key liaison for the marketing and human resources teams by providing key recruitment marketing guidance.



How You'll Make A Difference:






  • Be the key liaison working with both the marketing and human resources teams to develop and set the strategy for both small-scale and large-scale talent acquisition initiatives for the parks and corporate talent acquisition efforts


  • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates our employer value proposition into compelling digital and non-digital experiences for differing audiences


  • Partner with each park to understand and advise on best practices regarding seasonal and year-round talent acquisition campaign needs


  • Optimize digital ad budget allocation across channels, with support from selected ad agency partner


  • Develop shared campaign roadmaps (i.e., target candidate profile, hiring goals, and channels)


  • Serve as point of contact for feedback on creative asset development


  • Partner with Marketing to develop on-brand, “plug-and-play” recruiting templates


  • Serves as a digital subject matter expert and assist in building, planning, and implementing our overall digital and non-digital marketing strategy


  • Foster a strong, cohesive relationship with our Corporate Marketing Department(s), Talent Acquisition, HR Busines Partners, field representatives and management team members


  • Work in partnership with the Talent Acquisition teams and other cross-functional resources to support key marketing and talent acquisition initiatives


  • Drive application growth by planning, developing, and optimizing ad strategies across digital channels including our career website, CRM, texting, social and other platforms


  • Maintain employer brand updates on our career pages by making content and creative updates via a ticketing system though the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)


  • Suggest activities for improving the quality of our employer brand and digital content


  • Assist local Service Area resources with content & creative development and encourage CRM utilization and adoption


  • Bring to life various lead generation strategies across multiple online channels


  • Assist in building an inbound recruitment marketing plan


  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement as we become a leading employer brand


  • Track and measure SEO, Google analytics, ad metrics and provide analytical insights


  • Consistently review the success of marketing campaigns


  • Create and deliver training plans for Recruitment Marketing Technology updates


  • Manage system refinements, support roll-outs and additional functionality for current systems (iCIMS, Text Recruit, TextHR, Ceridian, etc.


  • Partners with Legal, HR Compliance, Risk, and HRIT to ensure awareness of compliance item expectations, and new polices are incorporated into processes; Manage change



We're Looking For:




MINIMIUM REQUIREMENTS:  



  • Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of recruitment marketing, as normally obtained through a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Human Resources or related field, and two to four (2- 4) years or more of experience in Recruitment Marketing, Social Media marketing, job board management; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Must possess a fundamental understanding of website structure


  • Ability to leverage raw data and build data stories that influence through data visualization


  • Experience using a CRM to pipeline talent


  • Familiarity with web design/graphics and publishing


  • Must possess strong social media skills including the ability to build a strong network with social media industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.


  • Ability to continuously learn and seek personal and professional growth opportunities in the changing area of social media and build credibility with customers, peers, and team members


  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to become an advocate for Cedar Fair in social media spaces


  • Must possess a solid understanding of social media metrics with the ability to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns


  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office tools


  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: -criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations


  • Project Management experience required


  • Travel required: 20%



 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: 




  • Proven work experience in the social media strategy arena with an emphasis in employment strategy strongly preferred


  • Project Management Certification


  • Experience with iCIMS and TextRecruit software


  • Experience with common sourcing tools (i.e. LinkedIn Recruiter)
