Job Description:

Infosys is seeking a SharePoint Engineer. The SharePoint Engineer will be responsible for working with a global workforce to support day-to-day operation, in both on-premises and online environments.

Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Groton, CT/Collegeville, PA / Peapack, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• U.S. citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• Perform SharePoint administrative activities such as site creation, user training, backup, restoration, and issue resolution.
• Hands on experience on SharePoint Permissions, Lists/Libraries, workflows
• Responsible for SharePoint availability, reviewing user activity, error logs, site statistics
• Understanding of SharePoint service applications.
• Knowledge of SharePoint PowerShell commands to perform regular maintenance activities.
• Perform SharePoint migration using tools like Sharegate, AvePoint or Metalogix.
• Demonstrate the flexibility to work amongst diverse corporate environments, technical and non-technical audiences across the organization.
• Candidate should be willing to provide the support after work hours if needed.
• Candidate should have experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Production support is good to have
• Nice to have Microsoft SharePoint or O365 certification.
• Nice to have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related filed
• Good to have scripting experience.
• Good Communication and Analytical skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
