Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Zoetis Tech & Digital (ZTD) Information Security organization aims to build and mature core capabilities to secure Zoetis' critical information and ensure flawless execution of business priorities. To that end, programs and projects must be run with the discipline, driving a cohesive approach to strategy planning, portfolio execution, and value realization while optimizing technology costs.

The Project Manager (PM) is a key contributing member of the organization that follows a project delivery framework for the planning, execution, risk and issue management, project governance and status reporting for all new approved projects. The PM conducts all activities and follows the process that is in accordance with Zoetis policies & SOPs, company values, FDA & global regulatory guidelines (including cGxP and SOX compliance).

Responsibilities:

• Develop a solid understanding of ZTD Project Management Office (PMO) processes


• Liaise with business to understand project scope and requirements at high level and work with ZTD team to formulate the project in accordance with the prioritization framework; develop a good understanding of project's success criteria


• Prepare detailed plans for managing schedule, cost, and scope


• Monitor project execution through status meetings and tracking of tasks


• Lead, motivate, and support cross functional project team members and stakeholders in meeting objectives


• Responsible for overseeing budgets, doing monthly forecasts, tracking cross functional team costs, time sheets and billing for vendors


• Vendor management to ensure vendor performance and financial tracking


• Facilitate team and stakeholder meetings leveraging issue tracking systems


• Create and maintain all necessary internal/external project documentation, including proposals, meeting notes, status reports, and project steering committee materials


• Identify needed resources; onboard or reassign team members as needed and per project plan


• Be a trusted partner for business relationship manager owning the project and keep them appraised of project progress

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field


• 3-5+ years of experience managing projects or a group of projects costing more than $5M


• Experience working with global teams across various time zones


• Experience working in heavily matrixed environments involving third party vendors

Knowledge, Skills, Ability Requirements:

• Understanding of Security, Finance, Logistics, Manufacturing and Commercial business concepts and end to end processes


• Demonstrated ability to work across organizational regional and global boundaries, ability to multitask, and manage multiple projects in a cross-divisional and cross-functional environment


• Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment


• Adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing


• Demonstrated ability to interact comfortably and professionally with all levels


• Experience in life sciences / pharmaceuticals industry preferred


• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must
