About this position:
This position’s primary responsibility is to manage the event needs of the Americas group. Embedded within Americas Marketing, the designated associate will help drive the growth and development of the event offer by defining and driving the operating model for client and associate events – covering in-person, virtual, and hybrid environments. This role will be responsible for planning and managing the event experience, audience development, internal communications, as well as event metrics.
The incumbent will represent events in operating committees, and also coordinate with the enterprise global event community, leveraging shared knowledge while representing and actively advocating for the needs of the Americas group
Responsibilities:
Develops policies, procedures, operations, and measurement guidelines utilized in their management of events delivering a strategic vision for Americas in the event space
Maintains awareness of ongoing current trends, platforms and innovations in event management
Applies event governance oversight and reporting to stakeholders
Develops and maintains deep relationships with internal clients/stakeholders ensuring implementation of a best-in-practice experience
Evaluates event processes for proper alignment with established TRP policies
Qualifications:
College degree or equivalent experience and 3+ years of related work experience
Preferred:
5 years event planning experience; preferably in financial services / asset management
Prior project management experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly skilled in Microsoft and Adobe programs
Experience marketing to institutional investors
Experience with operations & governance
Demonstrated self-starter and team player
Dead-line driven and detail oriented
Ability to anticipate problems and devise solutions
Excellent time management, adherence to deadlines and attention to detail
Excellent relationship management skills
