Starting pay rate: $17.00 an hour
$500.00 Retention Bonus after 90 days of employment
Work schedule 6:00am- 2:30pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sweeps all facilities


• Empties trash and garbage containers


• Maintains buildings, performing minor and routine painting and other light maintenance as assigned.


• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating or ventilating equipment.


• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks, shipping yards, and parking lots.


• Spot clean carpets, dust, clean windows, sweep and mop break rooms, etc.


• Clean and disinfect water fountains, toilets, sinks, restrooms, and first aid areas.


• Special projects as required.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in a janitorial function, or equivalent related experience.


• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to employ courtesy and tact in dealing with people.


• Must demonstrate proficiency in resolving unexpected events and circumstance.


• Tact, honesty and candor are required traits.

EDUCATION/ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• High school diploma or equivalent
