As the Associate Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing usage trends and forecasting demands for all SKUs. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Perform demand planning and forecasting functions for the selected client base


• Employ contemporary demand planning processes and applications to deliver reliable projections of forward demand requirements


• Coordinate demand planning activities with the supply planning, buying and customer operations support teams to ensure clear and consistent communications along the supply chain


• Research consumption patterns, historical usage and forecast data for all SKUs; recommend adjustments to minimum/maximum values that optimize inventory while meeting service level metrics


• Review, research and approve incoming emergent demand orders; provide direction to buyers on order execution


• Lead the shortage management process during periods of limited supply

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience


• APICS certification or willingness to earn certification

• 2 years of business-related experience or equivalent education


• Experience using Logility software


• Solid data management capability


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
