Summary:

The Mobility and RPA Simulation Systems Analyst position is for the Combat Operations Division for Command and Control (C2) simulator exercises hosted by the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) at Kirtland AFB, NM.  The DMOC connects various DOD agencies' and international partners' simulators together in a common synthetic environment for live, virtual and constructive exercises stressing operational C2 in a dynamic theater level training event. 

This individual supports planning meetings, the development and execution of test plans for Air Operations Center systems, development of event scenarios, and ensures internal systems are functional prior to event execution.  During event execution, this person brings credible expertise in C2 mission areas for white force execution, operation of environment generators, operation of visual systems identified by the government, directs document development that supports the event, interacts with Air Operations Center support computer programs (TBMCS, C2CORE or any other ACO/ATO generation system), and participates in scenario review to ensure desired exercise learning objectives are achievable.  

Responsibilities: 


  • Exercise planning and assistance to scenario development for exercises and events.

  • Provide guidance and expertise in both mobility and RPA operations and coordinate Virtual to Live and Constructive interactions.

  • Travel as required to support planning conferences, exercise development and other events in the US and overseas to support government requirements.

  • Provide inputs to exercise and technical directors.

Minimum Qualifications:  


  • Bachelor's Degree 

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in military mobility and RPA flying operations. 

  • Comfortable and competent in MS Office software utilization.  

  • Active SECRET security clearance with ability to obtain a TOP SECRET security clearance.

  • Consistent with Presidential Executive Order 14042, you must be able to meet all health requirements, including but not limited to, current and future vaccination requirements for infectious diseases such as COVID-19. The Executive Order generally requires that federal workers and federal contractor employees be fully vaccinated by January 4, 2022.

Desired Qualifications:  


  • Graduate of a military Intermediate Service School, Weapons Instructor Course or service equivilant course, or School for Advanced Aerospace Studies (SAAS) or other service equivalent.

  • DMO experience working with Live, Virtual an Constructive assets.

  • Systems engineering, preferably in a military environment.

  • Familiar with TBMCS, C2CORE, GCCS, JDOCS, ADSI/JRE etc. 

  • Experience with network integration--DMON, ARCNet, NCTE etc. 

  • Familiar with technical writing and test reporting.
