Job Description:

Specific Tasks: This position is located at Kirtland AFB, NM.

Plan, develop, coordinate, and implement all activities of the health promotion program, which may include but not limited to wellness screenings, educational classes, incentive programs, and health fairs.
Perform services such as finger sticks and other biometric measurements including height, weight, BMI/body composition, and blood pressure screenings.
Educate participants on health awareness and lifestyle modification.
Provide orientation and/or training to new and current staff to communicate new policies or changes in procedures.
Ensure that programs are staffed according to the scope of work and that work schedules are modified to meet fluctuating workloads needed to support the program.
Continuously evaluate programs for effectiveness and provide Progress Reports to support findings.
Maintain a current knowledge of health promotion topics to ensure all health education program materials remain current.
Coordinate and/or ensure that supplies, equipment, and files are maintained in properly secured storage accordance with provided guidelines.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills when working with internal and external customers.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the contractor Program Manager.
