ARC, located in Greer SC, is an FAA-Certified Repair Station specializing in electrical and mechanical accessories for gas turbine engines, airframes and landing gear components. ARC develops technically challenging DER-approved repairs of precision assemblies, including heated latches, drain tubes, EGT harnesses and pressure transducers. Additionally, ARC develops repairs for easily damaged, yet economical to repair components, such as drain masts and air ducts. ARC also can provide contract reverse engineering and production capacity for the assembly and test of technical components.

ARC, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, is recruiting for a Project Engineer.

Responsibilities -

• Perform repair development for DER repair projects including: repair procedure, materials analysis, process development, tooling design, document preparation, training and submission to the FAA for approval


• Assist the Chief Engineer on internal ARC projects and external customer projects as required


• Support of Operations and Quality as required

• BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience -

• Looking for 6 - 12 years experience in design engineering

Skills -

• Mechanical aptitude (ability to use shop tools and assemble/disassemble parts)


• Mathematical ability to analyze statistical information, perform tolerance stack-ups and perform geometric calculations


• Ability to operate and understand basic electrical test equipment


• SolidWorks CAD experience is required


• Computer literacy in a Microsoft Windows/Office system


• Ability to work in a team environment and function as either a team leader or member


• Organizational skills, team player and must be dependable
