Client Support Analyst, Costco Retail Engagement Team

What will I be doing?


As an Analyst on the Commercial Gateway Team, you will use strong organizational and analytical skills to drive new business for your assigned program. You will support our sales initiatives by working with IRI's client insights and client service teams, IRI's gateway team, and the retailer. In this capacity, you will be responsible for client sales; presentation development; lead generation; sales mailbox support; client contracting; database delivery; program development; financial/sales reporting.


To be successful in this role, one must demonstrate the ability to multi-task across fluid priorities; responsive to high volume email and phone inquiries from clients and CS team; have direct and honest discussions with clients and team members around programs, proactively identify program risks and opportunities; and keep organized and thorough records of the sales cycle and status of IRI financial goals.


Responsibilities:


This Costco client support team assumes duties for Vendor Access Execution & Maintenance, Data Security Execution and Subject Matter Expert/Client support to internal IRI client support teams and participating Manufacturers questions to drive value and retention in the program.



  • Support/Q&A/Help Desk


    • Issue Management across Costco data. All client issues and broader Costco Gateway challenges must be viewed with regard to impact to commercial contracts and client retention.

    • Manage the client support and operations mailboxes with responses within 24 hrs.



  • Monitor client usage, drive client and user adoption.


    • Isolate on key metrics such as Report Executions, Past 90 Day Usage, Lapsed User monitoring.


  • New Client releases and upgrades:

  • Maintain Vendor Scoping document:


    • Category changes, reclassifications, suspensions, upgrades etc


  • Manage Active ID's and Pw's for contracted vendors


    • Maintain distribution list for all active clients users

    • Activate/deactivate ID's


  • Oversight on training plans and adoption.


    • Ensure that curriculum meets emerging needs of users, and that new users are quickly adopted into the program through availability of training resources.

    • Oversee that all users attend training


  • Gaining buyer approval for US/CA new vendors by category by buyer


  • Manage Category restrictions and analysis Process -


    • 3 vendor rule analysis; annual review and ad hoc requests for upgrades to CT/Membership data



Qualifications:



  • 1+ years' work experience - retail and/or CPG background preferred

  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and experience reporting within large datasets

  • Proven ability to develop creative ways to address business issues and consultative selling

  • Experience with financial reporting and managing to a budget or revenue number

  • Ability to demonstrate expertise in translating data and analysis into actionable solutions



  • Previous experience demonstrating success in planning, leadership, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple facets of a project simultaneously, easily adapting to ever changing circumstances, while effectively prioritizing and understanding downstream importance

  • Exceptional attention to detail, with superior interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, remotely on multi projects and see them to completion

  • Previous experience excelling in an environment with multiple demands from stakeholders

  • Mastery of Excel - Creation and Use of Pivot Tables and mail merge.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Power Point and Word

  • Exhibition of willingness to learn new technologies and collaborate with others.

  • Ability to work hard in a fast paced environment and have fun.


Education



  • Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required
