Pay Range: $112,500 - $157,500 annually, based on experience
Classification: Full-time, Exempt

Job Responsibilities:


  • Maintain relationships for Trust accounts to develop and retain highly satisfied clients, attend meetings with beneficiaries and portfolio managers to recommend potential additions or changes to wealth planning objectives.

  • Administer complex trust relationships and planning activities to support and expand client relationships.

  • Supervise, train and mentor more junior Trust Officers and Trust Associates.

  • Be an internal and external thought leader, providing training to clients and associates on estate planning and tax matters.

  • Analyze complex estate planning needs, and identify and present solutions to meet client goals.

  • Remain current with all changes to trust, estate and tax law and apply this knowledge to the administration of trust accounts.

  • Consult with clients' attorneys, accountants, and financial planners to promote fiduciary services.

  • Community Involvement: Maintain a presence within our markets and communities through philanthropic and business boards involvement, as well as networking with like-minded professionals within the industry.

  • Work closely with the Director of Wealth Planning to create and deliver fiduciary-oriented wealth plans.

  • Approve and direct disbursement of fiduciary funds, oversee the preparation of federal and state tax returns for trusts by bank's accounting firm, and ensure that all state and federal rules and regulations are complied with.

  • Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company's Intranet;

  • Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;

  • Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;

  • Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Juris Doctor (JD); CTFA is also acceptable with significant relevant work experience is required

  • 10-15 years Trust administration and/or experience as an attorney specializing in trust & estate planning is required

  • 5-7 years experience in a supervisory role is preferred

  • Juris Doctor (JD) upon hire is required

  • CTFA or equivalent experience upon hire is required

  • Fluency with TrustDesk and all related systems employed in trust administration.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills including ability to present to large audiences

  • Proven leadership skills, team-oriented, detail-oriented; ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and mentor fellow associates.
