Who you are:

You're a pro on the phone who understands customer service and are ready to help people. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable multitasking and following scripts to answer customer questions, identifying customer issues, and directing callers where needed. You know how to use listening skills when speaking with customers and communicate in a professional, positive manner.

Location, Assignment and Hours:

This is a remote position! This is a temporary assignment position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers large amounts of inbound customer calls in a timely manner.

  • Follows communication "scripts" when handling different topics.

  • Responds to customer questions while ensuring the highest standards of customer service.

  • Utilizes software, scripts, and tools appropriately.

  • Appropriately documents all encounters in clear and concise online logs.

  • Employs empathetic support to customers.

Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Four to six months of customer service experience.

  • Call center experience a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Good customer service skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Professional phone voice and etiquette.

  • Ability to follow instructions and scripts.

  • Skilled in active listening.

  • Proficiency with computers, and good typing skills.

  • Strong time management and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work remotely.

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Occasionally must move about when working inside the office.

  • Repetitive motion. Regularly operates a computer, phone, and general office equipment.

  • Regularly required to handle, feel, grasp objects and reach across a work area.

  • Regularly communicates with customers and other employees and on the phone, virtually or in person. Regularly converses with internal and external contacts.

  • Visual acuity. Regularly must have close visual acuity to read scripts, view and enter information into computer and software systems, and utilize other materials.

  • Mental focus. Requires worker to maintain focus and exchange detailed and accurate information through oral and written communication.

Work Environment:
  • Office environment is climate controlled with no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.
