Support and maintain compliance with state laws, which oversee career colleges (all states), accreditation (ACCSC), and federal laws as appropriate (e.g., U.S. Department of Education). Ensure regulatory compliance throughout assigned campuses and states. Partners with campuses, state regulators, and key stakeholders at the home office to ensure the appropriate licensure and/or accreditation of campuses, instructors, admissions representatives and programs. . Deliver and maintain state and/or accreditation compliance training manuals, and assists in the development of successful, efficient processes for regulatory compliance. Responsibilities
Ensures regulatory compliance to support campus operations and/or student recruitment in assigned states.
Executes the licensing and/or accreditation process for campuses, programs, instructors, admissions representatives, etc., which includes, but is not limited to: researching, documenting and updating licensing and/or accreditation requirements and completing all applications and renewal paperwork for assigned licensing and/or accreditation requirements.,
Analyzes and interprets regulations, policy and guidance related to state licensing and/or accreditation requirements as assigned for ongoing organizational compliance and in response to specific inquiries posed by business partners.
Prepares, analyzes and audits data for regulatory reporting obligations.
Provides point-of-contact leadership and customer service for assigned licensing and/or accreditation work, including campus personnel and applicable home office staff.
Identifies process inefficiencies, develops, and implements solutions to eliminate or minimize identified inefficiencies and improve customer service to business partners, while maintaining compliance with all licensing requirements.
Executes implementation of new or revised compliance procedures in response to compliance audit findings and recommendations.
Develops and maintains compliance manuals and procedures.
Develops and executes formal training programs for campus and home office staff regarding accreditation and/or licensing compliance matters.
Collaborates with business partners (e.g. People Services) to ensure compliance requirements for programs, services and staff are communicated and implemented across the organization.
Establishes and maintains excellent communication and positive relationships with campus and home office business partners to ensure successful outcomes concerning compliance obligations and strategic business objectives.

Qualifications
Education / Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience with demonstrated ability required.
Minimum three - five years of experience in the higher education industry or other highly regulated industry preferred.
Paralegal or Legal Assistant experience a plus.
Auditing experience a plus.
Experience working directly with/for internal business partners and executive management.
Comprehensive knowledge of state laws and regulations and accreditation standards applicable to proprietary education preferred.
