The City of Camden’s water supply, serviced by American Water Contract Services Group, comes from groundwater that is treated at two facilities prior to delivery to the distribution system. The treatment facilities, Morris-Delair Water Treatment Plant located in Pennsauken and Parkside Water Treatment Plant located in Camden, collectively treat more than 21 million gallons per day. The two water treatment plants provide safe, clean, and reliable water to approximately 46,000 residents in the Camden community.
