Job Description

First PREMIER bank is seeking a Lead Teller to Manage and lead the teller team in delivering the Client Experience by providing excellent client service with each interaction while performing routine banking center and client service duties. Candidate must possess Leadership qualities that are necessary to build and support a Teller team, provide service that is fast, accurate and professional and maintain the standards in Teller Services. This position includes assistance to the vault, ATM, and cash needs, conduct routine banking transactions along with giving direction and assisting teller staff. Must have cash handling and/or customer service experience.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting wage is determined based on prior work experiences.

Full-time Hours:

Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Training Schedule:

Paid on-the-job training!

Performance Expectations 



  • Partner with Branch Manager to ensure effective operation of all parts of the branch including consistent PREMIER customer service.




  • Manage security issues; including communicating alerts, key assignments and dual control of keys/combinations, training and updating notification lists and procedures.




  • Manage performance and behavior standards and track measurements and goals for tellers.




  • Assist with the compilation of Teller statistics for the branch.




  •  Anticipate cash needs, and control cash levels for the branch within the established target levels.




  • Ensure adherence to department and company policies and procedures as well as State and Federal Banking regulations. 



Skills and Qualifications


  • 1-2 years of customer service and/or supervisory experience in a banking, financial or retail organization.  

  • Demonstrated organizational, confidential and independent work experience

  • Cash handling experience is preferred. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Conduct tasks in a manner that complies with all consumer protection regulations and treats consumers fairly.
