Training and Development Specialist

Job Summary: You will support new learning technologies requested by the internal Equinix Global Operations Academy (GOA). This includes testing, confirmation, and feedback on new training technologies including but not limited to VR/AR solutions, user training enhancement systems, and video productions.  You will also Research and provide recommendations on new technologies and solutions to enhance training environments.

Responsibilities

Training Solutions Program Management


  • Provides support for global training programs


  • Act as liaison between Equinix Subject Matter Experts, vendors, and GOA instructional designers to ensure instructional delivery solutions are accurate and meet learning needs


  • Work with Subject Matter Experts to provide support and guidance on Learning Experience Platform and learning content management


  • Financial Management including PO processing, contract management and vendor relationship management.


Project Management


  • Plans and executes as per the project objectives, focusing on the operational elements of the project such as meeting deadlines, and completing deliverables


  • Communicates and tracks project objectives


  • Manages the constraints of the project and provides timely status updates


  • Facilitate and provide support to regional training teams to ensure VILT or ILT training is conducted as needed


  • Facilitate vendor relations for new and ongoing training technologies


  • Create and manage purchase orders as needed


Analytics

  • Generates metrics to identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years experience required


  • Bachelor's degree preferred


  • A passion for supporting adult learning programs and tools


  • A deep understanding of learning systems and technologies


  • Highly proficient in computer systems, networking technologies, and applications.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal customers and external vendors.


  • Critical thinking to analyze appropriate solutions to complex training needs and support.


  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment


  • As part of a global team, flexibility in scheduling may be required

In accordance with Colorado State Law (https://leg.colorado.gov/bills/sb19-085) the salary range for Colorado for this role is $80K - $108K per year with 15% bonus target.
